Richard Bailey is one of Australia’s top fashion and advertising photographers with over 20 years of experience. Bailey lived in New York for ten years during which time he shot worldwide campaigns for Gap, Victoria’s Secret, Anne Klein, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. Bailey has also shot editorials for several overseas magazines including GQ, Vanity Fair, Italian Vogue, Glamour (US) Grazia and Mademoiselle.
Since returning to Australia, Bailey has shot covers and editorials for Harpers Bazaar, Allure, Vogue (UK), Australian VOGUE, as well as working on many high profile advertising accounts. He is the preferred photographer of supermodels such as Sarah O’Hare and Emma Balfour. Bailey is also in great demand to shoot celebrities, the likes of Eric Bana, Nicole Kidman and Christie Brinkley.
